Day 8 of My Social Media Fast

Day 8. Not gonna lie. Although not horrible, I miss checking in on my social media friends. I miss sharing what I am doing. However, the freed up time has allowed me to be more present in things that I have going on and that is a gift. Spring break with my youngest and babysitting my grandchild are all made less hurried because I have more time. Last night I actually grabbed a book to read while waiting for my husband to watch the news. I typically would have scrolled.  I am also not missing the temptation to online shop.
