Day 19 of My Social Media Fast

 But as for me, it is good to be near God. Psalm 73:25-26, 28

When Christ is in the center of my days He crowds out everything else. 

Perfect houses, clothes, children, marriages? Seemingly so on social media? 

When I make God the secret to my contentment all distractions fade to the background. They are still there, but I am not negatively influenced by them.  

I can like, and be intrigued by pretty things, without feeling that I am lacking when I am near to God and can feel Him near to me.

The grass isn't greener somewhere else when God is my center.
