Covid Cases Are Up In My Area
We knew it was coming. We knew there would be a spike. Well, it's here.
I am pulling back in for a week or so and going to go back to be a bit more quarantine-ish.
The past week I have been to the grocery store, Lowe's, Target, dinner with another family and I got my eyebrows threaded. All of my outings were done with the utmost care. I wore masks and I socially distanced to the very best of my ability.
This darn virus.
Today I keep thinking that I have the virus. I have a slight sore throat and so of course that is where my mind goes.
I don't feel doom and gloomy about the fact that we are living with so many unknowns floating all around us, I just feel slightly funky about it all. I took Ella to get a few new uniforms for school next year but as I paid for everything I was overcome with the question of will she really need these uniforms come August? Will she be returning to school. Purchasing uniforms is just one of those things that we have to continue to do in order to be prepared but the uncertainty hangs low.
Oh, yes. I forgot about the uniform store. I went there too.
Anyway, my nails are wet and have been typing this trying not to mess up the clear polish I applied just a few minutes ago. I already bumped my thumbs together and made indentions. My nails are very slowly recovering from the fake nails I had on prior to the shut down, they require even other day trimming, filing and a coat of clear to keep from being too annoying. I am fine with keeping my fingers nails going but I am longing for a pedicure!
Alright, Happy Tuesday!
Silver lining for the day: Jeff wants to continue with the eating plan we did last week. I am going along with it mostly because it means I don't have to cook! Love it!
