A Fresh New Week
What will this week be like? I pray it is personally a calm and productive week. A week filled with joy, movement and continued good eating habits!
It will be a bit of a slower start to the week as E doesn't have dance until the end of the week and we don't have any other commitments. I don't have any socially distanced get togethers planned for E and I think I may just leave it that way. We saw a lot of people and ventured out a bit much last week and I think this will be a good week to rope it back in a bit and see how covid-19 is playing out in our community.
Despite my wanting to cancel our patio dinner plans with family friends last night we moved forward with the evening and had a lovely time. Time will tell if it was a safe move (I am sure it was fine). Meeting up with our friends was one of those things we needed to do to feel somewhat normal and to lean into this new normal of living with the pandemic. Although there was nothing normal about it, the weirdest part of the meal was saying goodbye and not giving hugs. We all just kind of said good bye and walked to our cars. The teens hugged but the adults didn't. We are huggy people so it felt weird. And although the dinner was enjoyable, the coronavirus cloud hung over us.
I woke up early this morning. I just couldn't stay in bed any longer. I was out of bed by 5:00 AM. A nap will be in my future! I have also made it to Day #7 of the Cabbage Soup Diet and feel lighter and motivated to stay the course of clean eating this week!
I think it's going to be a good week! Lord, please let it be a good week! A really good week!
Silver lining for the day: A Target run is in my future this morning as I have a prescription to pick up.
