Memorial Day
It is Memorial Day today.
It is pouring rain.
We had a feeling it would be a rainy day today due to the water forecasts so we had our grilled burgers, baked beans and root beer floats for last night for dinner and dessert last night.
It may not be a traditional backyard pool party kind of a holiday but I think it's just what we all needed. A day to be cozy, a bit lazy and regroup.
Silver lining for the day: Jeff and I squeezed in a walk this morning in between downpours. It was a wonderful and peaceful walk.
